Question on my 85 Spree

when i turn it over, gas pours out of the exhaust. It started rough the past couple times and im not sure what it could be. Has anyone had this happen before and what could it be? Thanks

Take the fuel line off the carb. with the engine off, if fuel pours out of the hose, you have a bad petcock.

The only way a bad petcock would cause his problem is if the needle and seat were bad and then it would leak fuel when not running so it ain't the petcock.

Incorrect or bad needle and seat are the first things to come to mind.
