Chemically cleaning exhaust...

Post by SpreeWilly »

I've chemically cleaned my exhaust over the course of the last couple days.
I rinsed it out really good with the hose; lots of nastiness came out.

I've let it drain, and then shook it violently.
Still, there's water inside. I can hear it swooshing a little bit.
I got out my torch and got it warm (not red or anything like that, just warm).
A couple hours late, I can still hear water swooshing around inside when I shake it.

Being an enclosed as it is, I'm not convinced it's gonna dry itself.
Firstly, is this normal?
Secondly, how on Earth do I get this thing dried out?!

Thanks.

Reinstall and run it and the water will evaporate or put it on the BBQ grill and heat it, same thing the water will evaporate.
