honda spree loses power as it warms up
so ill start up my 1986 honda spree after a night of not riding and it will run mint for the first mile but after that it will start losing power and will not make it up the easyest hills ect. i cleaned the carb, got a new spark plug, cleaned the airfilter and still nothing. could this be the electric choke? if so is there a way to make the choke always be off? thank you for the help

Maybe, but there is usually another problem masked by keeping the bystarter circuit in the 'rich' position.could this be the electric choke? if so is there a way to make the choke always be off?
Unhook one or both wires to the bystarter and see how it runs when warm.
If the scooter wants to die at idle as well as with throttle once warmed up - check the carb pilot circuit.
