Type of Oil?

I got my Honda Spree about 2 weeks ago, and now I've been sticking 2 stroke oil in there, and I was at the auto parts store today and I found Halvoline TC-W3, and I was wondering if this is good oil? What's the best type of oil for these engines? (I specifically have a '85 Honda Spree). The guy at the part store tried convincing me I needed 4 stroke, but I'm pretty sure he was wrong?

You need 2 stroke injector oil. The best stuff for your spree is Honda GN2

Do you think it would be fine to continue running the engine for now with the standard 2 stroke oil that's in it? Or should I dump the oil tank and refill it with GN2 asap? From what the previous owner told me, he was just dumping 2 stroke in it.

The TCW-3 is for water cooled engines. I ran TCW-3 for a long time and it doesn't hurt anything. When you read oil specs, it says you can use it in your engine. Each mfg has their own spec with certain additives such as GN2. I wouldn't worry about it if it is a stock engine.

FYI and comparison:
here's another thread that talked about 2-stroke oils.
