I have a little under 100 PSI, The guage im using is a POS from napa so im sure that its not giving me a accurate reading. Ill go get my good on later and try it again.

But for the good news. I got that piece out and cleaned everything up. Pilot tube you can now see through. Also, it runs like a champ.

On the note of driving it legaly. What are the rules on this bad boy? Helmet, insurance and its legal to drive?

the se50p has a 11/1 final reduction the se50 has a 10/1 final reduction .. Red Eft Performance (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19538) sell up grad for the se50 and is a good guy to deal with there a after market pipe as well but don't have a link for that ...

Gaskets are not a issue anymore. I got all that cleared up.

I cut apart the stock exhaust looking for this "restricter" and cant find it.

I'm going to TIG together a new exhaust for this bad boy later tonight.

open this up and look at the pipes ... the good pipe is bigger when it hit the muffler...

what main jet do you have in the carb??the se50p has a 82 the se50 has a 85 ..if you open up the pipe and the jet is small you will run it leen and fry the motor...

Its completely stock. so im assuming the SE50p has the 82 jets. The new Carb i bought is a SE50 with the 85 jets so i should be good.

So a little update, I got all the parts i ordered(except the good carb). I did however get the Chinese carb and can definitively confirm that the real one is 100% beter. Some of the diffrences i found were that you needed longer bolts to mount it, The hose fittings are different sizes, the oil feed tube was not glued sealed or anything into place and the casting is just garbage. What is the same though is the carb jets and pilot tube so i swapped them over and it works nicer.

Then i started taking apart the clutch to replace it with all the parts i bought. Check out what I found already installed.



Also I took it for a ride and it hit 25mph on flat ground. That seems slow. Am I correct?

did you get a new ramp plate with the new parts?????
what is the main jet in the old girl ????
25 is about for a se50p....

If that's the ramp plate you're using, it's the restricted one. You need the non restricted plate, then you'll see a difference.
