fuse help

what size fuse goes in a 94 elite. its the fuse that goes in the positive battery cable. I looked in the manual but can't seem to find it.

Honda shows the fuse size in various wiring diagrams in the Service Manual. Value is 7 Amps.

Hey thanks for pointing that out, I see what you noted in the overall wiring diagram secion. My pic is from the same service manual. I guess we are all still proof reading the Honda Service Manual.

Fuse value should be cover a worst case scenario. If the rider has the turn signals on + brake light + horn + taillight... fuse should not blow.

I will open up the fuse holder to check the fuse on my 98 Elite tomorrow.

My '98 had a 10A fuse in the holder, matching charleswymer's find in the wiring diagram.

The bitmap I captured is from Page 16-0 of the 88-01 Elite SA50 manual, Honda has a mistake in that diagram.

My 2001 SA50 had a 10A as well. Looked original.
