Will a 2009 ruckus rear wheel fit a af16 engine? If not what years and model should I look for??

That's a huge help,Thanks guys!
Re: Ruckus rear wheel/af16
ive been wanting to know this as well. I will still try it out because I've seen someone used it. If you put a 90/90/10 tire I think it will work.

Tire size won't matter. The 3x10 ruck wheel is too wide and will rub on the engine case. The met wheel(2.15x10) on my af05 has ~1/4" of clearance from the case.

Torque the axle nut when mocking for a true fitment.nujee wrote:ive been wanting to know this as well. I will still try it out because I've seen someone used it. If you put a 90/90/10 tire I think it will work.

Found it.. I believe the inside of the wheel is the same as the met. it goes wider on the exhaust side but will still fit with a skinnier tire like the picture above. 3.0-10 or 90/90/10

Re: Ruckus rear wheel/af16
The OP just wants to know if the ruckus rear will fit.. the picture I posted answered his question.. now for the offset part that is something he needs to learn now on how to put the rear tire on the center.. Just a matter of cutting the engine mount pivot point on the left and adding some washers on the other side.
I will probably run ruckus rear and front wheel later on my build.. I have the rear already just don't have a front. I do have a full set of met wheels right now.

Re: Ruckus rear wheel/af16
my reason is coz of the wheel design and its wider.. something unusual from the typical 3 spoke that u see.graphite9 wrote:Just curious as why someone would want to run the ruckus rear wheel

I'm a bit confused as to why the wheel wouldn't be centered on the axle. Did that person shim the drum side of the axle to get it to sit more toward the exhaust side in order for the wheel to clear the case?

I didn't shim the wheel, it was centered on my 89 elite sb50 with a sym dd50 motor(dio copy).
Just did it for looks. It still handled fine. Just had to shave the rear shock a bit(got the rear shock with a short spring on top for clearance) and v8 pipe fit fine.
