Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Hello all. I have 1987 SE 50P. My bystarter would not work, so I took it completely apart to clean and inspect. After reassembly, it now extends and retracts like it is suppose to. The only question I have is this: I need to know the distance from the plastic piece to the end of the needle when cold. You can adjust this distance by screwing the cap into the body more or backing it out a tad. I would imagine this distance is critical because if it is sticking out too far, it will not allow the prime charge and back too far, it will flood the motor after running awhile.
