Trouble with spree

My spree has been losing power for the last couple weeks (down to about 20 mph now). I recently changed the spark plug, cleaned the carb, cleaned the air filter, and replaced the oil and it hasn't made any improvement. If I have made a mistake with either the plug or the carb would the spree start, because it does, just no improvement (actually worse) on the speed. Any suggestions would be great. If I blew a ring, how/where do I buy one and not sure how to fix it?
