Finally got the time to put my bike back together. Took it for a stroll for about several miles and rides perfect lol.

Did hone it up before putting it back together? As long as the gouge is not rubbing the crap out of the rings you might be okay for a while.

No never hone. Seems just fine.

I got a question though. Is swapping a 60 kmh speedo to a 120 kmh speedo plug and play? Cause wouldn't the needle move the same speed?

I'm glad it starts/runs. But d'ya really think you'll need the 120KPH (75 MPH) speedo? Probably not for long, but hope I'm wrong. Young hope springs eternal!

The needle won't move the same speed. It's how many revolutions the wheel goes around to how far the needle moves.

Sorry for the late reply again, been working. I don't think I'll necessarily hit 75mph but atleast it'll show my speed around the 50's or so. I just want to monitor my speed acurately or atleast close to, instead of just seeing my needle pass 60kmh and stop there. I don't want to get pulled over for going too fast.

But I'm still a bit confused. So is it like inside the speedo that has different "gearing" for the needle or some sort?
