I am wondering if this is safe to buy, need to replace the stator on my gf's elite... it kept dying with a brand new battery... have to kick start and turn blinks died while stop at red light... let me know thanks!

Could just be the regulator/rectifier. If it cranks with the kick it's most likely not the stator
