head lite not working

85 spree, headlite not working, is there a fuse to check? the brake lite and turn signals work. the head lite is good, I tested it out side of the scooter and it came on. any ideas? thanks

head lite dont come on with out the motor running.....

it does not work when its running, could problem be in the dimmer switch?

Check to see if you have power coming from the live wire to your light on the scooter. If you have power it could be the ground wire. You need a testing light to do this. If you don't have power then you can jump power from another hot wire.

I have had the dimmer switch be the culprit for a dead headlight a couple times until I cleaned the contacts the last time and pumped them full of dielectric grease.
