90 pounds compression, good spark cleaned carb

I have seen where people said it should run at 90, i cleaned carb and have spark. I do not see any gas on plug to not convinced that gettig gas. i am going to try to put the 2 caps of oil in there tonight and see if it starts. if rings / bad - what is best option to replace piston etc... and what costs am i looking at

What scooter?
I have a 300-mile top end kit for "sale" on fEeBaY. You'd be hard-pressed to find a cheaper solution. Compression was 144 last time I checked. Very low compression might start if it can get fuel, but there has to be enough vacuum to activate the auto-fuel valve if it's not sticking. 90 might not be enough to open the fuel flow to the carb if it is.

90 psi is not serviceable. 144 is excellent compression. That's a 54# increase.

When you do a comp test make sure throttle is full open.
