Check for a vacuum leak. Loose nuts or bolts at carb or intake. It is very important that the scooter be run at 14 miles per hour or less for the first 200 miles after rings are replaced. It is very easy to destroy new rings by going to full throttle to soon. the rings must seat in. If you did abuse them on your trip. you may have to replace the rings.

well check to see if u have a air cleaner leak. the lack of vaccum on the carb will cause this to happen. chech to see if the spark plug boot is on all the way. i have had that happend a couple of times before and it seemed like it was missing.

Also, check your back tire. It sounds like exactly what happened to me when I popped the inner tube on my back tire and I didn't realize it for a day or two.

the spark plug seemed to help it a lot. its still a bit off but i think its got to do with the air mix screw
