Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

So, I've got an '83 Aero 50. I've read that some Aero motors are similar(or are) DIO engines. Does that hold true for my Aero? I've also heard that the transmission is superior to a spree one, since the tranny is adjustable somehow(??) I'm not really sure. I am also wondering how similar my bike is to a spree. I had a spree a while back, and when put next to each other, the bikes looked very similar, with slight plastic differences, and of course the different fork. I'm confused, does my Aero have the same(or very similar) frame as a spree? Sorry about the massive load of noob questions, but I'm curious.
