Im trying to save money on my build and it seems that the shape is the same as other exhausts that cost much more.

Anyone know if these are any good. Any caveat to getting a cheaper no name pipe.?

Greetings:

You didn't say what your building. The 33mm diameter head pipe is pretty large unless you're running large displacement; it says as much in the item listing.
Also, you may find that the "U" for the silencer fouls your bodywork if it's an Elite S or SR. I had a similar pipe, but had to get the U cut and rotated out 45 degrees to clear the stock turn signal.
The shapes may be similar, but the Science is what matters. Most of the off-the-shelf pipes I've owned have unpredictable performance. You can get a PG Short for less money and its potential is proven.

Its a 94 elite SR. Was thinking of going with the polini corsa and 24mm polini carb. The arrow exhaust just seems so expensive but I was told the PG would limit the corsa somewhat.

im running a pg long on my corsa and hit 70mph it really all depends on how fast you want to go. my Pg Long rarely goes over 10k rpms.

Just go with the polini pipe, that extra $100 will be way worth it! I put that arrow on my second build and although expensive, its the pride of my bike, performance and sound is addictingly fun and its shape and beauty gets so many looks and comments. Just save up for the better pipe, trust me, you will be so glad u did...

Another thing I would like to add about this pipe. One thing I did not like is the angle of the tip. The mufflers blows hot air directly into the fan.

Dio Speed Demon had this pipe, I think he swap it out because it spat a lot oil on its self when he had it on, for a pg stroker pipe. Pipe is cheap but maybe the gains are not what you are looking for. At around $150 the pg short is the better option. Proven facts that it will hold it own weight. Performance also come with a price tag.
