where exactly does the glovebox mount to....in the middle of the glovebox does the screw go into where the label is? Thanks need to install one on a spree that has never had one

Yes, if you take the label off, you will see a circle. Behind that is a hole for mounting the glovebox. Just line it up with the round part of the glovebox that comes out of the middle. Then of course, the side clamps.

Under the sticker you'll see the spot. Pre-drill a tiny pilot hole in the CENTER of it to ensure your screw taps in the very middle.

Attach the side clips loosely to allow adjustment while drilling bottom mount holes....Drilling the bottom holes are what sets how LEVEL the G-box will be. Take extra time and do this part with precision and your box will be sexy in no time. Once bottom holes are set and box is nice and level...tighten side clips.

do I have to drill through the plastic and the metal? I don't have a hole behind the plastic

Yes, the hole should be placed right here. And yes YOU DO have a hole behind the plastic. EVERY Spree has one.
