I am fixing up 1992 SR 50.... found out the stator is damaged...

I am wondering if this is ok to replace?

I believe the 1988-1993 Elite motors are af05 designation. I recall a forum member "TrafficJamz" who I think said the af05 stator works for his race-motor af16, so it may in fact also work the other way around. Which means it's possible, if he was implying that, the part you linked to could actually work on a "92". You may have to use a corresponding flywheel (mag).
