Greetings:

The starter circuit is a high-amperage affair. You may have noticed the wires are bigger in gauge (10?) than the other scooter circuits. A non-stock, thinner wire replacement will overheat and burn quickly - make sure the wire gauge is stock. If not the wire, make sure the connections are firm - those smaller bullet connectors are barely adequate to support the current flowing through them.

Most of my money is spent on scooterparts. The rest is just wasted.
