Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

Hello, I just picked up a very nice 87 Spree with 900 miles (I have been looking for this color a long time). The spree runs great at first but after a short bit 1-2 min it will stall out if I am not at WOT. I am pretty sure it is a fuel delivery issue. I took a look at the setup and there is an inline fuel filter that had a slow leak on the connection. When I pulled the fuel line off it started dumping fuel, luckily I had an extra petcock and new fuel line. I got it replaced and am having the same issue. My next step is to give the carb a good cleaning, I am guessing the slow or idle passage ways might be clogged. Any other idea's? I will report back.
