Honda Elite headlight switch

Installing a LED headlight on my 2000 Elite. Want to use the original wiring and switch for this headlight to avoid having random toggle switches drilled into the plastics. Is there anyway to turn the original Hi/lo headlight switch into an on/off? or possibly an aftermarket switch that would fit in its place? Thanks!

yeah only hook power to bulb with blue wire or white wire. not both. also need to swap the power to the switch from ac to dc. i think its the yellow wire from handle bar switch needs to be plugged into the black plug/terminal junction behind headlight in your headset. I used the blue wire from handle bar switch. that way when switch is on low, no light. when in high, light is on and you have a handy reminder light on dash. have fun
