Have no start and just checking everything over and noticed these lines not attached to anything. Can't find a diagram for reference

They are drain lines. They don’t go anywhere.

99 elite sr, SA50. Wasn't starting but now it just wont stay running unless I stay on throttle. Tried to check timing but I don't see the "F" referenced in the service manual. Oh and thanks by the way.

This new info in your last post indicates the carburetor is not properly fueling on the idle circuit.
You simply need to clean that pilot jet is my best guess.
Keeping it running by staying on the throttle is annoying and entirely unnecessary on a properly clean carburetor.

ok I got the new carb in the mail today, so I took the old one off and decided to look at the reed valve. Took off the tube and it looks like a couple pieces of coating broke free and are missing

Flipped the reed over on the valve and installed the new carb. Fired up immediately and runs really well even at idle (made very minimal adjustments to carb after setting it up for initial start up, it was not set and ready to go right out of the box).
