Screw size for brake lever 86 NG50

Post by Tortoise »

Can anyone help me figure out what size the screws are that connect brake levers to handlebar?

1986 Honda Spree NQ50

Just the screw pictured here on this listing.

My friend just gifted me the Moped as he was moving and didn't want to bring it with him. Previous owner had just used some generic screws to hold levers and they are all wobbly- not sure what they were thinking.

Anyways, I ordered tires, tubes, new air filter & spark plug (from link on this site!)
The moped fired up with a battery charge, new gas and a little starting fluid.

I will post pics when it all comes together!

Hello and welcome Mr. Tortoise.
The bolts you are seeking are very specific to brake levers,
and cannot be described easily by size.
There must be a "shoulder" of no threads to allow for proper operation.
I suggest you place a Wanted ad in this forum and get some used screws.
It seems that parts suppliers do not offer this specialized screw. afaik.
