This Sucks?

ok, once again im having another problem. on my 84 spree, i have a 87 elite SE50 engine on it. theres a vent tube on the rear of the engine on top. i broke a new record speed of 46mph today. at that speed, im hearing a noise and it sounded like gears grinding with no oil. i got it home pulled the plug out of trans. it was full, but i noticed the oil was milky? so i changed the oil and put the plug back in it. now, i decided my scoot needed a bath. as im washing it, i noticed water getting sucked into that vent tube. y??? 
now i figured out y the old oil was milky. so..... y is oil getting sucked up? i have a k&n ail filter on the carb. anyone had this problem? thanks.[/i][/b]
