Hey guys. Fired up the spree today and noticed a fuel leak.
The leak seems to coming from the carb and not the fuel lines.
I know the likely causes are gaskets and the jet needle under the float. Looking for some insight into this issue.
I understand repairing an OEM carb is better than buying Chinese replacement.

Re: 85 spree carb fuel leak
1. float bowl gasket
2. damaged float needle
3. bowl drain not tight
4. debris preventing float needle from properly seating
5. cracked carb body
Those are the only things I can think of that would cause what you describe.

Re: 85 spree carb fuel leak
Hey Mike, I really appreciate your response.
In my image attached... The yellow gasket is the float bowl gasket?
Blue is float needle and gray is the bowl drain.
Just want to make sure I know what I'm looking at.
