Elite seized but only with spark plug in

I just rebuilt my af16, I put a malossi crank in it, it has a bbk with a 24 polini carb. It has spark and fuel, I was trying to kickstart it while giving it a little gas and it started for a second. I tried kicking it again and it was stuck, I took the spark plug out and heard some pressure release, it turns over fine and I let the electric start run thinking there was oil locking it up and a good amount of exhaust came out. If someone could tell me what happened that would be sick, I just don’t wanna try and start it again and damage it.

Figured it out, there was a lot of oil in it from the rebuild. I put some in the crank so it wouldn’t flash rust and there was definitely to much. Drained it out through the oil pump spot and it runs now.

I had something like that happen when I got my Elite it was sitting for so long the oil from the tank had filled the crank case and when I tried to start it it blew the oil seals out and made a huge mess.
