loss of vacuum

Post by Robert E Kelbe »

after my spree sits for a day, it won't start again. The gas line is empty so I assume I have a vacuum leak. The plastic hoses are very tight, I can barley get the vacuum line off to suck on it to bring gas down the line. What else could you think is the problem

Replace the vaccume line with a new hose. Try that and see if it helps. Otherwise your petcock may be acting up and not opening all the way when vacuume is applied.
