Honda Spree and Elite 50 Forums

I got another spree the other dayi cleaned it it idles great but dies the the throttle it turned. I think the fuel valve/ petcock is letting gas through constantly. the choke is also broke, I pulled it out and it runs the same. the idle speed will slowly speed up.
any suggestions?

take the fuel line out of the carb when the spree is not running. check if fuel flows when spree isnt on, that way you can tell if you are getting constant fuel flow through the petcock. if so buy a new one ~$35 from dealership.
