Upgrading spree seat

Post by porter92 »

Has anyone every modified or changed the standard seat for a Spree to make it more comfortable? I take my Spree for extended drives of 20 -25 miles or about an hour at a time and the seat becomes quite unconfortable after a while (if you know what I mean).

Not sure what you have in mind... elaborate?

An upholstery shop can rebuild seats with new foam and cover for you, or you can learn to do upholstery yourself. If you just need new foam and don't need a cover (cover's in good shape), that might be enough.

Seat mod

I've always stuck with the original equipment. There are times that we have put over 300 miles on in one day and never had a problem.
Of course, in the Navy I was always called a 'hard *' and maybe there was a lot of truth to that......
