i checked spark plug gap (.025) everything is fine. being a 2 stroke engine ive noticed NO smoke at all out of exhaust. i am going to clean the oil filter at the oil tank. took the oil line off the injector while running and oil was slow to come out and very little at that. how much oil SHOULD come out with the line off while running? i used half a tank of gas, and the oil level hasnt dropped AT ALL. do you think cleaning the oil filter will help much? any responses are appreciated.

Injector should make 1 drop every 10 seconds, depending on oil it wont smoke any noticeable amount.

i bought this yamaha stuff from my local motorsports dealer made specifically for scooters or what not, no one around here carries GN2 which was wat i wanted. it was recommended to me by the clerk there, seemed pretty knowledgable. what about the other things in my previous post?

I have never seen a stock Spree go up a hill without appearing to lose power. The term "gutless" applies.

by trouble going up a hill, i meant about 1-5mph. i could walk faster than the speed im getting uphill, that cant be road-safe......

Depends on the hill, but if the engine is still reving and you are going that slow, then either the belt is gone or the clutch.

Do a plug chop, I bet your running lean.
