Any tips on how to get my spree going from a stop? Very slow till about 15mph. Then its normal with a top end speed of 33mph. Already installed a new drive belt. Newer clutch installed a few months ago. Dont know what else it could be. Thanks

It's called normal operation. A 50cc engine only has so much grunt and the faster you make the little engined scooter go the worse the take off will be.

The spree has no variable gearing and the gears dont match the engine till 15mph, then you hit the powerband and it takes off. Its like driving a 5spd stick stuck in 3rd.

I didnt do anything to make it faster. Changed the belt and clutch cuz I thought it needed it. I would rather be able to get going thana faster top end

What years are your Sprees? The late one are 5 to 7 mph faster than the early ones.
