I plan to do Tires and tubes as my next project on my new spree. I did some searching but didn't find any posts on taking off the wheels to do this. plenty of info on replacing the tires. Any good links to posts for removing the wheels? Will I need any special tools? I thought I read impact tools save a lot of time.
Also, any info on checking the brakes and/or chain belt would be helpful. Just looking for advice from some of you who have done this before. Things to look out for, things that make the job easier, other things I should do at the same time to avoid doing it again
I really like the look of the blacked out wheels but don't think I want to go through sandblasting , priming, painting..... I have a little rust I would like to remove, but that is probably enough. Any ideas for removing the rust, possibly throw another protective coat on??
