Question about winter starting in cold states.

Question about winter starting in cold states.
Would it be OK to start a Spree a few times during the winter months to charge the battery and keep things operating or is it best to pull the battery and bring it indoors. I live in upper midwest so it gets really cold around here. Would it be wise to run snowmobile 2-stroke oil so it flows in the cold months?
Bring the battery inside. Charge b/f and after storage.
Just make sure to run injector oil. I think snowmobile oil is of this type.

Injector oil will not freeze. Actually the cold weather helps in performance since it holds more oxygen and lets the engine stay cooler. You should have no problem running it, as for storage inside is best. Otherwise drop a tablespoon of oil (injector oil is fine) in the spark plug hole to keep the rings from locking and run gas through it with sta-bil in the tank. If you store it outside I personally would mix a gallon of gas with sta-bil and run the spree to half empty then fill it up to the brim again only if you store. The gas will keep and will prevent the tank from rusting.

I always put stabil in and run it a few minutes to make sure ite through the carb before i put it away for the winter. I live in Wisconsin and it gets mighty cold around here. I also bring it indoors and put it in the basement.
They are light enough so it isn't much of a problem. I also charge the battery about half-way through the winter. Never had a problem by following these steps.
