Looking to hook up a CD player or cassette deck to my Spree!

Post by Spreewell »

Any advice on how to hook up a CD or cassette deck on a Spree. I'd like to jam to some tunes while commuting to and fro. What would be the largest amp that the charging system could handle? Looks like you could map out a sub on the side panel and some tweets in the front storage area.

Graduated from "Noob" to "Unicycle!"
Thanks in advance.

this should really be in "general discussion"

if u do search for the post i taught how to do it. i have one in the spree and the elite. u can see it in the elite in the pics.(under the seat)

for the spree go to www.freewebs.com/mytoyz and look under the spree/elite page. that is my spree. u can see the best way to do it.(its hard because there is no room in the spree).

Thanks alot Bill, looks like you put alot of work into that tune set-up. Do the tunes get in the way of your knees while your riding? You don't like the Sugar Hill Gang?

the sterio doesnt get in the way. the problem is, it likes to skip when playing a disk because it is mounted upright. to do a similar setup, the ignition needs to be moved which means it will no longer lock the handlebars.
