Bare Carb. Nipples!!!!!!!

Post by innieTT »

I was putting my motor on the frame (has never run before under my ownership) and I looked at the Carb and realized there were bare nipples... I looked in the manual and it looks like they may just be vacc lines or train tubes. Is this true? It doesn't say anything about them. Thank you.

What are you working on and where are they located exactly? On the carb or the intake?

Nice title BTW.

from where the rear tire would be. one is at the bottom pointing to the side, one in the middle pointing down, and the last towards the top pointing outward.

one pointing down at the rear top is a fuel overflow from the bowl, from factory had a tube that ran through the rear engine shroud to empty in front of the rear tire. The one on the bottom to the side is the bowl drain, it has a screw in the front of the bowl to let fuel out of storage or repair it also would have a tube to the same route.

The other would doesn't need anything.
