headlight/85 spree

headlight works when its out of the spree i plug it back in ,turn on the switch nothing.have checked all wires leading to and from the spree.the tail lights,the brake lite,the horn all working.any way of hooking it directly to another live circuit,or is it in the switch

only works when bike is running.

if its the switch, test for continutity and you will know. ALso theck for voltage.

when i got my scooter the head light didnt work, but when i took it out and put it to the battery it shined, well my prob was a badground, the green wires are the grounds make sure all of them are attaches or if the wire didnt rip, also my hi lo lights swich doent work, so when i go lo, it turns of and when i go high it goes realllllllly bright, but i like it that way,
