Greetings:
Few topics generate more controversy than a rider's choice of oil. Real data is scarce. Anecdotes abound. Recent engine failures attributable to oil prompt the question: what is the choice of the Cognisenti?

I just recently bought my elite and put castrol syntec I was kind of worried about putting synthetic in such a old motor 20,000mi but so far so good

The poll question should be best oil for premix, or best for injector.... do I make sense?

You make perfect sense, but this poll asks what you use, not what you believe is "best". Get your own poll.
Four-strokers and other Philistines may comment if you must, but pre-mixers and auto-lubers preferred.(that sounds vaguely suggestive, don't it?)

well I use both so hah! I need my vote back..
Running basic Castrol 2t oil (pepboys stocks it) in all my injected bikes
and Caster927 for the premixers
GN2 is overhyped and quite subpar imo

im using amsoil intercepter. good oil and and can be bought at quite a few shops around me.

Ipone "strawberry" scented sythetic.
Smokes a bit actually but then again I have the oil pump wide open

I used to use GN-2 when I could get it. Otherwise, it was Castrol injector oil. Now, my friend decides to tell me(after we've been BEST friends for 7 years) that the 55 gallon drum in his pole barn was full of AmsOil injector oil he runs in his sleds, I now got 5 milk jugs full in the garage.
So I use AmsOil. It makes more smoke than usual in my Aero, but it doesn't stink like two stroke. And, doesn't foul the plug, still brown...
