Ultrasonic cleaner for the carb?

Post by Scooterspal »

I've seen videos of this on the web but is anyone here using an ultrasonic cleaner for carbs?

I purchased one on Ebay a while back, a nice heavy duty industrial unit, for another application but the next time I need to do a carb I think I'll try it.

They say to just use Simple Green and water and it comes out sparkling inside and out. I know my unit is very strong so it should clean the tubes without having to chance a removal and possible damage.

I had 3 larger ultra sonic blind cleaning units at one time, and man that is the way to go. Last summer I found a small unit and love it. My carb. come out new. I used power house, then flushed with clean water and blow dry.
It work great on many things, then somethings it don't.
