Drive Belt Alternatives
I went to Honda for a belt for my 86 Spree, and found out that they want $40.00 for one. That's nuts, has anyone found an after market belt? Or has anyone matched one up from something else?

Check the web links pages for some places that sell mail-order.
The manual clearly states not to use automobile belts, but is there really any reason that you can't do this? I know that some guys have (blufire?) and have not reported problems...yet. You would need to get the width and belt length right, they are sensitive to changes in length and width.
