1989 Elite 50 Will Not Accelerate Fast Enough Help
So i bought a 1989 Elite 50 and it runs great.... when its cold. When it warms up it sometimes dies out when i open the throttle all the way. It also takes a long time to accelerate past 15 when you are at a complete stop which is annoying when you are at a red light. Does anyone know what that could be???

Start by cleaning the carb....
Next to increase acceleration, put it in the back of a truck
Seriously if you haven't cleaned the carb yet you should...
Also take a look @ your clutch pads

on the acceleration thing, when its cold it picks up great. but once its been running for a few minutes it drags on acceleration. even after i hold the throttle completely open it does not want to pick up. not like when its cold.
