Aero '84 parts to '86?

Post by Fishman43 »

I have access to a cheap running '84 aero. It is in sad shape externally but I am wondering what, if any, of the mechanicals would work on my '86? Should I buy it for a parts scoot?

Thanks

Engines are completely different.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

Wheels? Brakes? Drive train? Starter button (mine is broken and rigged with a toggle switch)? Exhaust? Etc? Etc? Etc? Does anything from the '84 work on the '86?

Thanks,
Dan

Wheels brakes and electrical might but, but exhaust and drivetrain wont.
