I know this must have been asked before, but useing the search function I only find questions about tires 3.0/10 and bigger. Would a 2.75/10 fit on an '86 Aero? I would like to order new tires from Motprcycle Superstore, and they have 2.5/10, 2.75/10, and 3.5/10. So if something bigger than the 2.5/10 would fit without rubbing I would like to run them!
Thanks,
Dan

Re: 2.75/10 Aero tires?
Greetings:
2.75s were stock. Some P.O. must have found some 2.5s and installed them. 90/90s fit comfortably in back, rub the fender at full squat in front. Some say a 3.5 will fit in back, I've never tried. Remember some brands are bigger than others, even if the size stamp is the same.

Thanks Wheelman! 2.75's it is, I don't want to waste the $ on trying to fit a 3.5 only to learn it doesn't fit, or gets grooved the first bump I hit.

Greetings:
3.00s reportedly fit without issues. The advantage of that 0.25" is considerable in terms of ride quality, give a little more groundspeed compared to 2.75s.

Re: 2.75/10 Aero tires?
Motorcycle Superstore didn't have the 3.0 they only had 2.75 and 3.5's in the tires that were recomended when I searched this forum. I ordered the 2.75's and some new tubes a few minutes ago.
