how much shorter compared to an 87 mount?diosoljah wrote:I sprayed the rims gloss white yesterday, Im thinking of painting the body red, and also adding a rear trunk. The spree/dio mount pictured above was from a 94 elite s mount, it was shortened so that the rear tire has clearance between the rear fender, and also notice that the tounge piece is also repositioned.
Im not sure, I was trying to find an 87 mount but couldnt, its freaking hard to score one so had to use what i had an s mount, even those s mounts are getting pretty elusive.85stroka wrote:how much shorter compared to an 87 mount?diosoljah wrote:I sprayed the rims gloss white yesterday, Im thinking of painting the body red, and also adding a rear trunk. Yes can be, use a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar and a piece of pipe unless you have an impact, but I perfer the breaker bar-easier to tell when the bolts breaking loose- you dont want to crack the blockRabbi wrote:was it hard to remove the mount from the Dio engine?

are you able to make another mount like this?
i'll give you the tail light assembly as a straight swap for one of these if you want?
