cutting open stock exhaust?
Just wondering if anyone has altered the stock exhaust other than removing the restrictive washer from an elite S pipe and gotting good results?
Sa50p: port/polish, custom vari, 88mj, restrictions removed. 47 mph

chevyguyjay cut open his pipe for the af05 motor and replaced the outlet pipe with a bigger pipe (same size as internal pipes) and i think he removed the packing? I'm pretty sure he got better performance and it sounded like a flowmaster, low and deep tone. Not sure about a stock S muffler, they are already good mufflers.

You will get no added performance if that is what you are looking for. If your muffler is restricted by carbon then it would help.
