Spree racing gears soon avalable.(marc)

Post by tazland001 »

Got some 16*80 racing gear ratios being made. They will be avalable for sale in three weeks. I am the only one in the world who will carry these gear ratio upgrades. This will help the top end if you have a 44 mm kit. Will add about 5 to 7 mph on the top end with the 44mm kit. 47mm kits for the spree will be coming in fall.

You are a god.
I am not a mechanic, nor do I play one on TV. Actually my advice is probably worth slightly less than what you pay to view it.

Gears, pipe & bore for Spree package deals?

Also will that all bolt-in to an SB50 Elite E? (I know the bore will.)

I will have stage kits eventually. The spree with a 47mm big bor and the gear alone will make the spree go 45+mph. And the take off will be sick. And when I get the muffler done with 47mm kit and gears you will easily hit 50+ mph.

Yeah, no kidding.

Right now I am in an Aero 50 frame of mind due to my current project. But the next one might be the Spree so I just wanted to get my name in there to gauge interest.

Marc this progress is sweet s***. I really think I might take one of my many Spree blocks and ressurect a Spree.

good lord, next will be stroker cranks... LOL. Now that, would just be pure sweetness. then I can see it, some way some how, bigger intakes and carbs...

What a breakthrough. I should start suggesting these when I work on people's scoots. I've rebuilt 4 spree's this year already, and for what it costs for a new top end your kit is actually cheaper...

Marc,
are these the same gears you sold with the 44mm bbk this past winter or different? I was just on the phone with a friend who picked up a 84 with 7000 miles on it for next to nothing, and was trying to convice him to buy the bbk/gear kit from you. With all of this speed, you need to work in a BRAKE SOLUTION. I run at 35-38 mph every day, and sh%$ myself every time I have to quickly stop. This skid marks are not on the pavement.......

Have you changed the brake pads? Seems an obvious question, but mine stops ok from 40mph, not stellar, but still decent...

I have not changed brake pads yet. When I did bbk this winter, brakes actually looked really good. Will adjust tension on current system to see if it helps. If not, will try changing brakes.

I am working on the mufflers at the moment. The variator will have to be next.
