1999 Honda Elite SA50P
7000 miles
8 spark plug
new/used exhaust bored out
When I turn the throttle, the thing almost jumps out from under me. Like a 1/8" and ZOOM. Careful not to hit the throttle when you grab the brake or ZOOOMMMMMMMM.
Ms. bean prefers a more stable ride. smooth.
any suggestions?

Wonderfully worthless advice no brain train.trains420 wrote:lean forward, don't floor it.

Back off on the throttle cable adjustment (make the inner cable slightly longer. Then it won't come in so fast.

shutup.
i've never seen a honda scooter with the throttle cable not adjusted good. unless someone else has done it. you mean an 1/8 inch from when the throttle goes? usually, over time, the cable gets worn and you have to twist farther to get it to go. but yea, lean forward or something. these things can go. there not a car. and gears, would give you more top speed, and less hill climbing, a little, and not as fast takeoff.

"Adjusted good" huh? Try adjusted properly or correctly. And then there is "there" which you meant "They're" becuase "Their" would be wrong too. Not correct english and you haven't seen much. Both my Aero 80's needed adjustment and I adjusted the Spree because the wife didn't like how the throttle came one. Why don't you and maddog go have a party and tell each other how much you (DON"T) know about scooters.trains420 wrote:shutup.
