New air filter??

Ok so I've got an Elite E and soon I will be putting Taz's BBK in it, (probably with a machined head for greater compression) and I want to rip off the stock airbox and put on something that will let more air through. I understand that there are lots of aftermarket air filters that are on the cheap side and perform well. I do plan on keeping the carb stock. So what are my options as far as new air filters go?

why not get a uni filter? a little pricey i guess but at $14.00 why not?
