maybe if you add like about 2mm worth or more but some of the pg longs come with the flange turned in a little to much so the have to be bent out some.

i did a 120 mile trip with them jets, and alot of WOT runs never had any problems. the night it blew i hit my top speed of 64 mph and felt like it was still wanted to go. ive heard people say then K&N type filters are hard to tune. i think i may get a uni this time and when i reassemble the motor everythings gettin lock tight..

Maybe it only ran beacause you had air leaking in from your exhaust port

just measured my old base gasket set up was at 2.23mm... im gonna need to add another base gasket to lower compression still or possibly add a head gasket, is two of the aluminum head gaskets ok together??.. ill deffinetly be bending the j section of pipe..

ok thats kinda what i thought it would show some signs of oil..

Yes you can stack head gaskets. 2mm of base gaskets is really a lot. Did you check to see where the port durations were at first before adding those gaskets? If the durations are to long you can loose intake charge back through the tranfers from it being open to long. That will cause it to run hot too.

ok heres what i got in detail besides compression (some one borrowed gauge)
everything was torqued down to 8 ft/lbs

head gasket .51mm
base gasket 1.65mm
squash 1.23mm
intake 132 deg
exhaust 180 deg

head gasket .51mm
base gasket 2.5mm
intake 140 deg
exhaust 189 deg

looks like i cant get my intake to the 128 deg and the exhaust to 190 at the same time.. i do have many different size base gaskets to play with if you can see a different margin for the intake and exhaust to be at... thanks for the help :worship:

go with the 132in/180 ex setup and use 2 head gaskets

ok with the 1.65 mm base gasket and 2-.5mm head gaskets my compression is 110... seems a little low, but what do you think? i could take out 1 of the .825mm base gaskets and put in a .54mm to raise compression a bit, but that will lower my port durations even more...

ohh ya and with 1 head gasket my compression is 135, thats what i had on the last grenade...

135 doesn't seem to high . And prolly just fine on 91-93 oct.

i already burned a whole in 1 piston with the same compression and very rich jetting. so i dont want to risk it again, ide run the high compression if 103 was more common out here....

OUch dude. Ya you can go as rich as you want with high compression wont help unless the gas you use has a higher knock raiting. Maybe some turbo blue 110 or some 100 oct from sunoco then she would prolly like the compression more and pull some more torq, as well.
