Well I did some rudimentary measuring on my spare block. And it does seem to match up. Granted I was measuring with a fabric measuring tape... But it was only of by a mm or half...

OK so its looking like one of the only OKOs I can find to order that is the blk blk from treats. But of course they are out of stock... any one know who stocks non huge carbs?
Or would a 21 mm as such be fine?

That price is terrible. here is the whole works for $135 or make an offer.

I paid $55 for my last OKO and it was a 24mm Powerjet carb and the 21 was the same price on flea-bay. You can buy the Powerjet carbs for $69 on flea-bay.

ok so after an email from benji at treats (on the 4th of july none the less...) i have decided on my set up. Hopefully this will not over carb the set up, and keep eveything under the side skirts while doing so. Treats isn't going to have the carb in for about another week, so i have a little time to switch something out incase i am making a horrible mistake... So whatcha' think
19mm oko blk blk
http://www.treatland.tv/OKO-19mm-carbur ... -black.htm
a non CT OKO intake
http://www.treatland.tv/OKO-26mm-intake ... ke-dio.htm
and SE50 3 petal reed block with malossi fiberglass reeds
am i missing anything?
mind you, this will be on a malossi bbk SE50, with polini for ruckus vari, 7.8:1 gears and malossi wild lion pipe.
i know everybody says bigger is better around here when it comes to carbs, but i really want to keep this build as tight in the low end as possible since the gears are a little steep, but the only off the shelf choice for a kitted SE50.

Actually the 3 petal reeds will help the low end but restrict the big end. If you put a set of Aero 80 reeds in there with the Boyesen Dual Stage reeds, you would have the best of both worlds as the Aero 80 reeds are bigger and pass more air for the top end, while the dual stage reeds help the bottom end.

And what engine did the reads come off of. If I remember correctly you had to get reeds from something else.

The Aero 80 uses the reeds from it's sister scooter in the rest of the world the "Lead 80." The Boyesen reed number is 740 and you get 2 sets for the price you pay.

so i finally got the intake and carb in finally. they were aparantly on back order far longer than treats thought they would be...
but the good news is the non ct OKO dio intake that treats sells does fit under the body panels of an aero just fine. now the trick is going to be finding a filter that will fit under the panels... the float bowl does hit on one of the tranny mount bumps, but once i make the spacer to take up the extra space that the SE50 intake trac has, it should lift it enough to clear.
now i just have to figure out a starting point on jetting this bad boy, any close aproximations as this is my first time messing with OKOs? and any good ideas on a slim/small filter? i believe its a 48mm inlet filter.

48mm on the OD of the intake side of OKO carb should be correct.

102.50 - 105.00 on the main is a good place to start on the 19mm.

UNI makes a foam offset air filter that will mount and clear the body panel...

Which CT intake Mani? (CT black?)

ok so here are some pics... didnt take as long as i thought...
here is the bare intake on its own, just like the CT, it does need a "filler or spacer" plate under it to make sure it seals properly.
Image
here it is on the "mock up block" to check fit and panel clearance
Image
and here is the * off look my dog gave me when i disturbed her mid day slumber by squealing like a 10 yr old girl when i saw the UPS truck.
Image

now i just have to wait for the choke conversion kit to come in, and wit for the NH80 reeds to come in. and find a filter, and press on my malossi gears. and then break it in. and then... it will probably be cold again...

another related question for those that have put a CT on a SE50 block... how thick of spacer did you make to fill that tiny little gap in between the block and the intake?
