Hi all,
I was wondering if it is possible to put an af16e engine from a 98 elite on an 89 sb50 frame. If so how do I do it?
Thanks

Not sure what's involved with that model. But it should be pretty easy

Use a 1980 honda express shock instead of welding an extension on to the elite e shock.

yes, I done it before, is not too hard, u just need to use the af16 engine mount and cut it to fit onto the sb50 frame. for the shock mount, u can use one of the sa50 front shock control arm to attach shock into the stock sb50 location. if not, u can either weld a shock bracket on the frame or mount the shock at the ignitior mount hole and relocate the ignitor. but of course is abit getto
